My consulting is a ministry of working together with parishes to search for the best solutions in addressing sacred space needs. It includes education/formation, design and participative decision making. It is my role to be an open listener, to help the parish articulate its story, vision and needs, ask objective, challenging questions, affirm good decisions, and provide input and leadership to the parish and other professionals.

The spiritual growth of the parish during a project is a priority. It is important to know and respect the local culture of the parish and the area. My primary focus is assisting small, rural parishes.

My purpose in creating art is to use it as a medium to bring an awareness of the sacred into the lives of those who encounter my art. Much of my work includes elements or themes from nature because I want the viewer to become more aware of the presence of God which surrounds them in all of creation. I strive to create artwork that speaks to people of a certain locale or tradition by incorporating specific elements identifiable with that locale or tradition.
