Current Events Spring 2007 Sisters Assist with Spring Break Mission Trips Spring Break 2007 provided an opportunity for Sisters and students to travel to four states on mission trips. S. Corinne Lemmer accompanied a group of nursing students to the South Dakota Rosebud Reservation to provide health care services particularly to diabetics. S. Maribeth Wentzlaff and six students traveled to Mississippi to assist a family and also help out at the Palmer Home orphanage. Sisters Barbara McTague and Bonita Gacnik were joined by six students, including two from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD, on a mission trip to south Texas and Mexico. While there they assisted at an orphanage. The fourth trip was led by Rachel Wagner to aid with continued recovery efforts in New Orleans. These trips, and one at the University of Nebraska/Kearney led by S. Rosemarie Maly, received major funding from Sacred Heart Monastery.
