The Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery minister:

to each other through helping with the daily chores of the monastery

to those around them through volunteer ministry in various agencies and outreach activities

to the rural area they live in through spiritual, psychological and experiential support by their presence and assistance

to those who wish to enhance their skills through formal learning by their sponsorship of Mount Marty College to provide higher education to the people of this area

to those with health needs by co-sponsorship with the Presentation Sisters of Avera health to provide care through hospitals, clinics, and outreach services

to the Church by their ministry in schools, social service agencies, parishes and education.
