S. Eileen says of the experience, “What a truly life changing event.  This was a trip that blessed us far more than the service we did.  We are looking forward to more service trips.” 

SOS participant, Trena Riggins summed up her experience in this way, “I was overwhelmed by how much the SOS trip truly touched my life.  I will always carry that with me wherever I am called to be.”

S. Bonita reflects that one of the best things about the trip “was getting to know the students better and watching them grow and mature while living and working together. It was also a gift to experience the deep faith and generosity of these very poor people of Mexico.  They have very little, yet ‘Mi casa es su casa’ (My house is your house).”

S. Andree says of her SOS experience, “I was introduced to a level of poverty that I have never experienced and yet I saw joy, love and appreciation in all the people that we met and served.  It was truly gift to me.”
