Holy Week Retreat
March 20 - 23, 2008
An opportunity for those seriously
discerning entrance to religious life to set aside some time for prayer and
liturgy in a monastic setting. Holy Thursday afternoon until after morning
liturgy on Easter Sunday. By invitation only.

An introductory
experience of two to three days for any women interested
in knowing more about
monastic religious life.

Service Project
"Seekers of Service"
March 1 - 9, 2008
A special Outreach Project to do community service
for the disadvantaged with Sisters from Sacred Heart Monastery. The
mission is to reach out to others through Gospel values and to embody the
teachings of St. Benedict when he said, "Relieve the lot of the poor."
This experience will include travel, manual labor, prayer, sharing and
journaling.
Audience: Women able to do the work, take the time, and wish to integrate
their experience with their spiritual journey.

Service Project Brochure
A Monastic Experience
A special time to live here at the
Monastery and
follow the horarium of the Sisters. This experience
might
range from a weekend to a month in length.
Audience: Women who are seriously
considering religious life
and would be eligible to pursue that consideration.

Come & See
A short-term experience in monastic living for high school age girls who
wish to
know more about religious life. This experience will include praying,
eating, and working with the Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery.
Audience: High school women or younger

These opportunities are a time to encounter the life of the Benedictine Sisters and to get to know them personally. You will live in the Monastery and share fully in the daily schedule and life of the community, including:
